To begin with, Impact Magazine has published an article about Jake Bugg, it depicts him as a great singer (which it's true ^^). Again, the writer compares with other singers, I don't like that as you know, because when you label a singer as the association between Dylan and Bugg, it can be hard to remove it, but it's my opinion.
The writer talks about the fact that Jake Bugg could become 1st in the charts of Nottingham, I think he can too, I don't know if you've seen the way Jake Bugg is raising but it's lightning ! Also, we learn something really interesting, the song "Lightning Bolt" became the theme song of Usain Bolt and was played in the Olympic Stadium this summer !!
Dont' Forget, the debut album will be released the 15th October :)
PS : It seems that the Arthur's Day Festival was a great day for Jake Bugg !!

Reeperbahn-Festival !
I've just read an article from Die Welt (a German newspaper) which deals with Jake Bugg.
The folk singer is consider as the discovery of the festival. The article underlines the fact that he sounds like a young Bob Dylan, playing and singing with an impressive nonchalance. Finally, it is said that Billy Brag, Paul Weller and Noel Gallagher see him as the future of the British Folk/Rock and, underlines the website, they are quite right.
